Controversy’s favourite film Udta Punjab has been leaked online, 2 days ahead of it’s scheduled theatrical release. Many users have reported that they have downloaded the movie which had ‘for the censor board’ label in it.
However, the movie download links were “removed due to a copyright complaint” after the film’s team war footed it from torrent sites. But, it is difficult to remove the content completely from the internet as some of the viewers have already downloaded and shared it on the internet.
The film contains all the scenes that the censor board objected to. So, the persons behind this leak are still unknown. Bollywood fraternity took it to Twitter to prevent the users from downloading the movies. Filmmaker Karan Johar and Bipasha Basu posted an identical tweet which said that the leaked version contains a virus.
The representative of Udta Punjab film denied commenting on this issue. But they have registered a complaint with the cyber cell.

The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Daljit Dosanjh.
